Laurence T. Inkatha, is the Founder & CEO of The
Inkatha Youth Foundation for the Arts. He is also the creator of The
I-AM Youth Program. This program and Foundation is the product of over
30 years of dedication to the principals of Artistic Freedom and True
Higher Education. Born and raised in Detroit Laurence became
disenchanted with his public education and as a teen started working to
make education relevant to his times and peers. Laurence is also
considered one of the best male vocalist and entertainers in Las Vegas.
Mostly working the Corporate /High-Roller parties. Having been schooled
in the real Motown experience (a childhood friend/rival to Stevie
Wonder), he also became dissatisfied with the abuse of the artists and
wanted a better way to express and control his artistic talents.
Laurence is also the proud Father of five children. Two grown daughters
and three teenagers that live with him. He is a very proud single
Father. Working from first hand Street Knowledge; (he carries a PhD. In
Streetology, from Hard Knocks University). This exciting, multi-talented
Artist, Author, Entertainer, Leader and Entrepreneur has been prepared
by God to do this great work that is being presented as The I-AM Youth
